Grapevine, Texas

We are now in a new campground and it is amazing. It has trees and a lake. It is set up alot like Nacimento Lake. Wish we had our boat - they don't rent boats on this lake you have to provide your own. You can rent kayaks. I am in the midst of taking pictures and will add them later.
Ducks waddle up to our campsite - not a bit afraid.

The town of Grapevine has wineries and the cutest shops - the town has restored it's buildings so makes for fun shopping. They even have a frozen yogart shop - it is the first one since we left home. It's actually very much like Yogartland - it's called Cassie's. They have my favorite flavors - so I was very happy.

Dick is going Bass fishing with a guide on Thursday so he is looking forward to that. He has been to Bass Pro Shop here and picked up his fishing reel (Father's Day Present). Cali and Dick went to the most amazing Sports Complex at Oak Grove Park - he took me there last night and it was truly amazing. The parks in this city are beautiful. Hope my pictures will do the town, park and lakes justice. We are hoping to get in a game of golf here - hoping it will be a better game than I golfed in Arlington on Sunday.
